Providing for Today’s Youth

The KoN corporation has been an integral part of Sparta Recreation’s Town Basketball program. Matthew Pait started out volunteering his time to coach his brother’s elementary school teams. After they graduated he continued to volunteer his time coaching 7th and 8thgraders for eight years. He then offered to help me develop and direct our town high school basketball program for over 120 students. This required a minimum of 10 hours per season conducting screening processes, drafting teams, and scheduling games. For the next 4 years, the KoN corporation has assigned two supervisors to spend 3 hours each Saturday (10 weeks per year) chaperoning and directing the actual games played. In addition to all of that, they have donated, designed and managed a website for Sparta Recreation where students could see the game results and all notifications regarding the basketball program. Matt exemplifies leadership, organizational skills, and creativity. The most amazing part of all; he and his company does this all as VOLUNTEERS! They give so much to the youth of our Township and to our Community. We are so blessed to have them.
